The Pause is a series of exercises and creative tools to increase resilience, mindfulness, and joy. They are inspired by my own life experiences and training as an art therapist, coach and mindfulness teacher. Most are born from my morning practice - one of my favorite parts of the day.
I hope whatever season of life you are in, these serve you in some way. Create a little sanctuary and enjoy the pause - an opportunity to reflect, ground and deepen your relationship to yourself.
*This is not my original idea. When I graduated from grad school 15 years ago, my dad told me to record art therapy exercises to send to people who I couldn’t work with in person. And now, I am finally listening, except not using VHS and not only art therapy. (He was so ahead of his time.)
